Description

Sophie and Simon’s home is a beautiful 15th Century cottage situated in the small hamlet of Toys Hill in an area of oustanding natural beauty. It is probably the oldest house in the village, and was once occupied by Winston Churchill’s gardener. It enjoys spectacular views across the Weald of Kent and on a clear day you can see across 20-30 miles of uninterrupted countryside. Awarded a “highly commended” 4star AA rating, dogs are welcome, and the large garden is for you to enjoy. Toys Hill is ideally situated for exploring London, only 6 miles from Sevenoaks with fast trains (35mins) to London Charing Cross.

B&B Facilities

We have an assortment of rooms to suit all needs – do contact us for more details. Each has its own TV/radio/shower or bathroom and you are welcome to come and go as you wish. There is high speed internet access for those not wishing a total escape, and off street parking. A full English breakfast with local produce and home made jams is served in the dining room looking out across the Weald of Kent – or, on sunny days, in the garden.

Evening Meals

With enough notice, we are very happy to provide evening meals, and there are also many charming country pubs nearby (The Fox and Hounds in walking distance) and several excellent restaurants in Westerham. We are always happy to make suggestions and reservations.
